One Direction's latest album 'Midnight Memories' went straight to number one, causing Harry Styles to pay tribute to the scores of Directioners who bought the record.
The 19-year-old hunk thanked the band's fans for making the boy band's third studio album the fastest-selling so far this year after it shipped 237,000 copies in a week - more than the other collections in the top five combined.
Speaking at 'The Class of 92' premiere at the Odeon West End in London's Leicester Square last night (01.12.13), he said: "I'm very excited, I want to say a massive thank you to everyone who has bought the album and anyone who has even listened to it and liked it."
Harry admitted the group - who are also made up of Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne - were particularly pleased with the immediate success of this record because they have worked "really hard" on it.
He added to BANG Showbiz: "We worked really hard on this one so it's exciting that it's been received so well."
Harry was joined at the premiere by his bandmates Niall, Louis and Liam as well as the six soccer stars in the movie - which documents the rise to prominence of six Manchester United players from their time in the youth team to achieving success in the first team.
The players, David Beckham, Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, Gary Neville, Phil Neville and Nicky Butt walked the red carpet along with several stars including Olympian Greg Rutherford and singer Tinchy Stryder.
