Lady Gaga's new album is being worked on by Giorgio Moroder.
The critically-acclaimed producer revealed he's written "five or six" tracks for the forthcoming studio record but missed a recent studio session with Gaga because he fell ill.
Speaking to Popjustice he explained: "I was supposed to be in the studio with [Gaga] a week ago, but I got a cold.
"I'll see her when I'm back. I have about five or six tracks, just basic ideas. Drums, keyboard, bass. I'm going to be surprised, I think - I don't have a clue about the way she's recording. Will she play the piano? Will I?"
Though the disco star prepared the tracks for Gaga's own album, he admitted it'd be "incredible" if she went on to feature on his upcoming spring release.
"This is for her new album - that's the intention.
"I was hoping that maybe I can convince her to have one of the songs for my album. If I could convince her, well that would be incredible."
Giorgio's already confirmed he's worked with Kylie Minogue, Britney Spears and Sia on the upcoming LP, but said a potential Gaga collab would have to "fit" with the rest of the tracks.
"If I have a good track that could fit my album but not necessarily hers, that could be ideal."
