Geri Halliwell is back in the music studio and working on new music.
Revealing the news, she said she was inspired to make new material after singing anywhere and everywhere.
Speaking in an interview with The Sun newspaper, Geri explained: "I'm back in the studio. Oh my God, I'm so excited. The strangest place that I've done recording is on horseback in Austin, Texas. Christian was ahead of me and I was singing to the horse. If I've got a melody I want to keep it."
Having released a number of singles in the past since her departure from the Spice Girls, Geri's now enlisted the help of well-known songwriters to help re-launch her career.
Working with Amy Wedge and Eliot Kennedy, she said of the latter: "It's beautiful. Elton John and [lyricist] Bernie Taupin, how they have that collaborative feeling, we've been able to do that."
