A brand new George Michael album is to be released later this year.
'Symphonica' is the sixth studio album for the global superstar and music legend, and has been in the works since the tour of the same name in 2011.
Produced by Phil Ramone along George himself, the record is to be released as a hardback deluxe, 17-track CD edition; a standard 14-track CD; a standard 14-track digital version and on pure audio Blu-Ray through Virgin EMI/Universal Music Group.
Tracks will include rearranged versions of some of George's biggest tracks plucked from his historic back catalogue, as well as new interpretations of songs made famous by other artists.
Lead single 'Let Her Down Easy' will also be released on the same day, through iTunes and other digital platforms alongside a brand new Vaughan Arnell directed music video.

Both the album and single will be released on March 17.
