Despite pulling out of their headline slot at Glastonbury Festival this past weekend, Foo Fighters have announced that their tour will continue from next week.
Left with a broken leg after falling from the stage, frontman Dave Grohl's injury forced the group to cancel their Glastonbury gig at the last minute, leaving Florence + the Machine to fill the void.
Despite that, the band have said that their forthcoming tour dates are going to take place as planned, kicking things off with a show on Saturday July 4 in Washington DC.
Confirmed via their official Twitter page, the band wrote:
Glastonbury boss Emily Eavis recently spoke to Digital Spy and told the news outlet that she'd love Foo Fighters to reschedule their headline appearance for the event at some point in the future.
Headlining this year's show, Florence Welch put her own spin on the band's track 'Times Like These', paying homage to the group.
