Evanescence are back on the music scene, with the band announcing their first string of live shows for three years.

The mini tour will come off the back of their appearance at Ozzfest in Japan in November, and see them sing at three different locations in the US.

Fans will be able to catch the band at Nashville's Marathon Music Works on November 13, before going on November 15 to South Side Ballroom in Dallas and finishing up on November 17 at the Wiltern in Los Angeles.

You know, we're already playing Japan, and it seems like a waste to do all that practicing for just one show.... So to...

As of yet the group haven't revealed any further plans to perform shows anywhere else.

Evanescence haven't released any material since their self-titled record in 2011, though Amy Lee did work on the score for Sir Ben Kingsley's movie War Story in 2014.
