Lady Gaga's new album might not be released until 2017, according to Sir Elton John.
The 'Rocket Man' hitmaker has given an updated on the 'Born This Way' singer's eagerly-anticipated fourth studio LP and teased that the 30-year-old pop beauty has been working on "two or three" tracks with superstar producer Mark Ronson, which are "absolutely brilliant".
Speaking on his 'Rocket Hour' podcast on Apple's Beats 1 radio, Elton, 69, said: "I've heard two or three songs from her new record, which she's making with Mark Ronson, and it's absolutely brilliant, so you're gonna be really happy when you hear that later in the year or early next year."
'Uptown Funk' hitmaker Mark had previously revealed he'd been in the studio helping Gaga to perfect her guitar playing for the record.
He shared: "I've been working with Lady Gaga for the past few months on her upcoming record and I am blown away by her talent and her voice.
"She's never played guitar in public before. She's great on piano but guitar is something she is learning for this record. And she just smashed it. I showed her things and she's such a fast learner and as a performer her charisma is insane so she could have carried it anyway."
And although there is yet to be an official release date, Gaga has promised fans it will be "worth" waiting for.
She previously said: "I'm actually working every day on my record and I will be done with it at some point. I don't know when that will be. I just feel like this is my time for me to spend time on my music. I have had to do so many other things and I have to keep up with so much to please the people around me. So this is the first time I get spend with my work. So I promise you that It will be worth it."
Gaga's last LP was her 2014 covers album 'Cheek to Cheek' with Tony Bennett and her last solo release was 'Artpop' in 2013.
