Eagles of Death Metal played their first gig in Paris last night (07.12.15) since the terrorism attacks in the French capital last month.
The American rock band took to the stage to perform at the end of a U2 concert at the AccorHotels Arena, less than a month after the deadly attacks during their on-stage performance.
According to various Twitter users, Bono invited the band to join them, saying: "They were robbed of their stage three weeks ago, we'd like to offer them ours tonight."
During the widely-anticipated collaboration, the bands performed a cover of Patti Smith's 'People Have The Power', before U2 gave way and allowed Eagles Of Death Metal to close the show with their own track 'I Love You All The Time'.
U2 performed at the same venue the previous night, and used their gig to pay tribute to the victims of terrorist attacks around the world.
Addressing the crowd on Sunday evening (06.12.15), Bono said: "We stand together with the families who lost their loved ones in Paris. We stand together with families in San Bernardino. We stand together with families in Beirut and Istanbul. We stand together before those with false ideologies of the god they serve."
