Drake made a surprise appearance at The Weeknd's concert on Wednesday (08.03.17).
The 27-year-old singer and songwriter - whose full name is Abel Makkonen Tesfaye - took to the stage at London's O2 Arena last night to perform his hit tracks, but the artist stunned the audience when he welcomed the 30-year-old rapper on to the platform during his gig.
The Canadian hunk put on an unforgettable display as he performed a new version of his 2016 hit 'Fake Love', his 2015 single with Future titled 'Jumpman', and 'Energy'.
However, Drake - who is also known as Aubrey Drake Graham - made sure not to steal the limelight during the concert, and took the time to praise the 'Starboy' hitmaker in a heartfelt speech, which saw him reminisce on their partnership and when he first heard The Weeknd's debut mixtape 'House of Balloons'.
Speaking at the event about the musician, who he joined forces with on his 2011 hit 'Take Care' featuring Rihanna, he said: "You played me 'What You Need'. After that, we met up at the studio and I heard 'House of Balloons'."
And Drake has revealed the 2011 mixtape is one of his favourite LP's "of all time".
He continued: "[It] is in my top five albums of all time.
"OVO and XO forever, it doesn't matter where we are."
The pair - who are currently on their European tour together - have regularly accompanied one another on stage in the past; Drake invited the dark-haired vocalist out whilst he was singing in Germany, and at London's Wireless festival in 2012 the duo paired up to sing 'Crew Love'.
And there is growing speculation Drake and The Weekend will join forces again as the Ontario-born record producer is reportedly set to feature on the 'One Dance' singer's 'More Life' album, which is rumoured to be in the final stages and soon to be released.
