David Guetta has dropped a remix of Princess Superstar's noughties hit ‘Perfect (Exceeder)’.
Princess Superstar is having a resurgence thanks to 'Saltburn'
The 52-year-old US rapper - whose real name is Concetta Suzanne Kirschner - famously teamed up with Dutch star Mason on the 2006 mash-up of his 2006 instrumental dance track 'Exceeder' and Princess Superstar's 2005 hit 'Perfect'.
The remix by the world-famous French DJ comes off the back of the track being featured in the 2023 movie 'Saltburn', and much like Sophie Ellis-Bextor's 'Murder on the Dancefloor', which soundtracked a viral scene in Emerald Fennell's spicy flick, it has been having somewhat of a resurgence.
The tune went viral on TikTok with 50 million videos using it and it also hit Spotify’s Viral 50 in 46 countries and is number 16 on the global chart. It has also exceeded 55 million streams and entered the UK Top 30 for the first time in 17 years.
In 2007, the song peaked at number 3 in the UK.
In the US, meanwhile, 'Perfect (Exceeder)' reached the Top 10 of the Billboard Hot Dance / Electronica Songs chart for the first time.

Another remix by drum and bass star 1991 dropped last month.
Princess Superstar also went viral after rapper Doja Cat posted a video of her lip-syncing to her track 'Famous', resulting in eight million views.
