Liam Fray revealed earlier this month, to XFM radio, that the band will soon be taking a 'break'.
Following their concert tonight (December 13) at Manchester's Phones 4 U Arena, Fray revealed the gig will be their last for "at least a year".
"I think this gig will be the last one we do for a while... I'm not going to say for a long time 'cos I don't know. We played a lot of gigs this year and we've played those songs a lot. I think we need to go away and decide which ones work best, what we like and re-assess really for the next phase."
The gig tonight is the last in their tour of the country, and though we'll miss the indie band - we know that when they do come back, they'll be bigger and better than ever.
