Clean Bandit have said they were "freaking out" following the discovery that they'd been nominated for two BRIT Awards.
The singers performed last night at the nomination announcement, but said they might find it hard because of the shock after being shortlisted for the British Group and British Single categories.
Taking to their social media account on Twitter they wrote: "aaaahh we've been nominated for two whole brits!!! freaking out which is so not ideal cos supposed to perform now but can't stop giggling (sic)."
Milan Neil Amin-Smith commented further on the nominations on his personal account, praising the "geniuses" who entered them into the categories.
"omg no kidding we got nominated for two brits!!!!! ehehehehehe who even votes to decide that what a little bunch of geniuses they r heehee (sic)."
Sam Smith suggested that after he received five nominations he felt extremely emotional, and posted an image of the categories he was up for on his Instagram, along with a caption of a string of crying emojis.
Ed Sheeran was "chuffed" to be given four nominations and Rita Ora posted online that she was proud to be British when her 'I Will Never Let You Down' music video received a nomination.
