Stormzy, Joe Jonas, Mark Ronson, Diplo and will.i.am are just some of the all-star faces that appear in the music video for Charli XCX’s new single, ‘Boys’. Directing and commissioning the video herself alongside Kendrick Lamar collaborator Sarah McColgan, the result is an infectious and entertaining three-minute romp of music bliss. Check it out below:

Speaking about the song, Charli says: “Boys is my favourite music video I’ve ever made. I just wanna say a big thanks to all the boys involved, for totally embracing and understanding my vision and being excited by the concept. P.S. No boys were harmed in the making of this video.”

Earning critical acclaim both as a performer and a songwriter throughout her career, Charli looks to be going from strength to strength, picking up various accolades along the way, including two Billboard Awards, two NME Awards and two Sesac Songwriter of the Year Awards.

Hitting the studio with the likes of Blondie, Rihanna, Britney Spears and Gwen Stefani, it’s not surprising that she’s able to get all manner of people working alongside her for a variety of different projects.

What the future holds for Charli remains to be seen, but if this new single and music video are anything to go by, fans are in for a treat.

Boys is available to stream and download now. Catch Charli on tour with Haley in the USA this autumn.
