Celine Dion has said she's "more than glad" she decided to sign up for a residency in Las Vegas, after she agreed to a three-year show at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace back in 2011.
Making the difficult decision to postpone the remainder of her show when Rene Angelil - her husband - was diagnosed with throat cancer in 2014, she now has plans to return and complete the string of dates from August this year.
Despite it being a huge success, Celine says that there were those who thought the move would be a career-ending one for her.
She told NBC Nightly News: "A lot of people, especially in the industry, they thought it was very, very high risk, finishing my career here. It was the end of my career. I remember hearing that, 'the boat is going to sink again'. They thought of that one pretty well."
The joke was of course in reference to Celine's track 'My Heart Will Go On', world famous thanks to becoming the theme tune for 1997 movie Titanic.
Since her decision to join Vegas, many other popular music stars have followed suit, with Britney Spears currently enjoying high success and Mariah Carey and Jennifer Lopez both also recently announcing their own Vegas plans.
Celine will take back to the stage in Vegas on August 27, with her husband and former manager Rene by her side.
"[Rene's] strong. We're creating this show together. We make changes together. He wants me back. He wants me strong and this is what we're doing together."
