The 'Toxic' hitmaker recently worked with the rapper on her new single 'Pretty' Girls' and revealed it was her sons Sean Preston, nine, and Jayden James, eight, who insisted the pair headed into the studio together.

Speaking about Iggy, she said: "She's absolutely a doll. She's so sweet and just a very grounded person, and her accent is absolutely beautiful and my kids love her too. My kids were like, 'Mum, you have to do a song with Iggy, she is so cool!' So I was like, OK, I get points for that. "

Following the song, the 33-year-old musician - who is dating Charlie Ebersol - has her sights set on working with other female singers, and named Katy Perry as one of the acts at the top of her list because she has a "good heart," but said they are yet to discuss the possibility of recording together.

Talking about the 'Roar' singer, she told Dan and Maz on 2DayFM: "There's so many extraordinary and spectacular women out there right now who are doing so well, and she's definitely one of them.

"I actually met her at the 'Smurfs' premiere. I think she was the voice of one of the Smurfs, and she's a good girl and she has a good heart and I've spoken with her briefly but we've never got the chance to really work with each other. But yeah, she's someone I'd really like the chance to work with."
