Iggy Azalea has been hailed as creating the Song of the Summer by Billboard Magazine, for her chart smash hit single 'Fancy'.

Featuring vocals by Charli XCX, the tune has topped the Billboard Hot 100 seven consecutive weeks over the summer of this year, and has now topped the magazine's list of most popular tracks.

'Fancy' is also the first Song of the Summer to block all competitors from the weekly summit since 2010's winner Katy Perry.

Ariana Grande's song 'Problem' - which also features Azalea - came in at number three just behind MAGIC!'s 'Rude'.

Last year saw Robin Thicke at the top of the list with 'Blurred Lines'.
