Coldplay's Chris Martin has admitted he's still embarrassed about the moment one of his songs were described as "awful" by Beyoncé.
Joined by the singer and Bruno Mars at this past weekend's Super Bowl event, Chris continued his longterm friendship with the singer but admits that she is honest when it comes to his music.
Chatting to Rolling Stone, Martin recalled the moment he presented her with a track called 'Hook Up', only for her to turn it down.
He explained: "She told me, 'I really like you - but this is awful'."
Martin went on to tell the magazine about his divorce with Gwyneth Paltrow.
"I have a wonderful separation-divorce. It's a divorce but it's a weird one. I don't think about that word very often. I don't see it that way. I see it as more like you meet someone, you have some time together and thinks just move through."
With the pair still being so friendly, Gwyneth was at the Super Bowl with the couple's children at Levi's Stadium, cheering on Coldplay as they celebrated 50 years of the event in the Halftime performance.
