Beyoncé's latest visual album 'Lemonade' debuted on HBO in the US on Saturday (April 23) and despite only being available on the network for 27 hours before moving to Tidal, the project is now available for Emmy Award consideration, with EW confirming with HBO that there are plans to submit the project in the Variety Special category.

This would be Beyoncé's third Emmy nomination, with the singer previously being nominated for her Super Bowl XLVII Halftime Show in 2013 and then again for her On the Run Tour concert special with Jay Z.

The singer isn't the only person credited for the visual album, with Kahlil Joseph listed as director alongside Beyoncé and additional directors Melina Matsoukas, Todd Tourso, Dikayl Rimmasch, Jonas Akerlund and Mark Romanek all also listed.

Last year, the Variety Special gong went to Saturday Night Live's 40th anniversary special.

'Lemonade' is now available for stream and download on Tidal and has also been added for purchase to both iTunes and Amazon.
