The 72-year-old singer has announced he's going to "hit the road" and will bring his 'ONE LAST TIME! Tour' to arenas across the United Kingdom to coincide with the 40th anniversary of his fan favoured hit 'Mandy'.

The 'Can't Smile Without You' crooner said: "We had a great time putting the show together. We hope to take everyone on an emotional roller coaster. I can't wait to see everyone dancing in the aisles."

The music legend launched the tour earlier this year in North America and the UK leg will kick off on June 11 2016 in Leeds at the First Direct Arena.

Tickets go on sale from October 5 with prices starting from £19.75 to match the cost of Manilow's shows four decades ago.

'Mandy' was first released in 1974 but became a hit the following year and was also covered by Westlife who reached Number 1 in the UK with the track in 2003.

The Grammy Award winner said he wants to thank the fans who have supported him over the years and reiterated that the tour could be his last.

He said: "My way of thanking everyone for their years of support...one last time!"

Manilow has been inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame having enjoyed record sales exceeding 80 million throughout his career.
