AC/DC have insisted that Phil Rudd's arrest will "not affect" the plans they have for the future.
The drummer had been charged with trying to have two people murdered, threatening to kill and possessing drugs following a raid on his home in New Zealand, but bandmates Brian Johnson, Angus Young, Cliff Williams and Stevie Young are still going ahead with the release of new album 'Rock or Bust', and their tour in 2015.
Charges against Phil for his plots to hire someone to kill have now been dropped, but he will still face the threats to kill and drugs charges.
A statement made on AC/DC's website said: "We've only become aware of Phil's arrest as the news was breaking. We have no further comment.
"Phil's absence will not affect the release of our new album Rock or Bust and upcoming tour next year."
Following his arrest, Rudd appeared in Tauranga district court but didn't speak during the hearing and was bailed until November 27, with terms of his bail including having to stay in Tauranga and having no contact with others relating to the procuring murder charge.
The drummer doesn't feature in promotional material for the new record and wasn't a part of two video shoots that took place in the last few months.
Brian reportedly told fans at one of their shoots that the drummer was missing because of a "family emergency".
Rudd joined AC/DC back in 1975, being dropped in 1983 and subsequently rejoining in 1994.
