Tommy Hilfiger is pleased to announce the Hilfiger Sessions in London, UK. The latest in Tommy Hilfiger’s eclectic series of musical events – organized in partnership with Sony BMG Europe – will take place on September 22nd, 2008 at the historic Porchester Hall, Bayswater Road, London W2 5HS. “London remains a world center for both music and fashion, so I’m very excited to bring the Hilfiger Sessions to this great city,” said Tommy Hilfiger. “The blend of local and international talent guarantees a truly memorable night for all our guests.” Headlining singer-songwriter John Legend showcases material from his highly anticipated new album Evolver. Attendees at the exclusive, invitation-only event will also be treated to live jam sessions from local rockers The Metros, plus up-and-coming stars Steve Appleton and Zarif. This latest Session builds on the existing success of The Hilfiger Sessions – a series of musical events, founded in Amsterdam three years ago, which sees both high profile artists and new talent playing intimate gigs in cities around the world. Recent Sessions have taken place in Madrid, Berlin and New York, with appearances from artists such as Wyclef Jean, Kelly Rowland, Moby, and Dave Navarro and Donovan Leitch from Camp Freddy.
