Wyclef Jean : Musician Turned Politician
When Wyclef Jean announced he was thinking about running for Presidency I thought it was just a little publicity stunt / joke on his part, but now it looks as though it will definitely happen.
The rapper and producer Wyclef Jean is allegedly preparing to announce his official bid to become the next president of Haiti and should even be confirming the gossip on Larry King Live later this evening!
"It's not something that was taken lightly, it's not a joke," said Wyclef's brother. "It is different for us, but we are proud of him and we are going to support him in any way we can."
Well, if we had given up life as a musician, politics would certainly be the route we'd be going down. *cough*
