T.I. is urging America's youth not to copy their idols' political persuasions - because they need to make up their own minds about who to vote for in the upcoming presidential election. The Whatever You Like star, real name Clifford Harris Jr., is unable to cast his vote when the country goes to the polls in November, because of his criminal past. But he wants his fans to pay close attention to the ongoing political debates between presidential hopefuls John McCain and Barack Obama, so they can choose for themselves who is better suited to leading their country. He tells MTV, "When I'm speaking to young people and they say, 'Who you voting for?' I say, 'Well, what (do) you think's wrong with the country? What problems do you need to be fixed? OK, then cut your PlayStation off and turn to CNN and listen to these people. Listen to each of the candidates' platforms, and whoever you think is speaking passionately and intelligently and will do the things you think need changed, that's who you vote for.' It ain't as easy as saying, 'T.I., OK, tell me who to vote for.'
