The White Stripes frontman Jack White has dismissed reports the group's forthcoming album Icky Thump will be their last, insisting he can handle the pressures of playing in two popular rock bands.White - who launched The Raconteurs as a side project in 2005 - feels the constant media speculation regarding the future of his bands is unjustified, because they can easily co-exist.He says, "We get asked all the time, 'How long do you think it's gonna last?' I'd venture to say that in 90 per cent of interviews, someone has asked us, 'Is this the last record?' It's almost as if people want us to stop! "Then The Raconteurs came along and people thought, obviously, we're done.
