Flowers Blasts Green Day Political Dvd.... The Killers frontman Brandon Flowers has blasted fellow American band Green Day for performing their politically charged Bullet In A Bible gigs in the UK instead of the US.Flowers was confused the band chose Milton Keynes, England, to publicly condemn the Bush regime in 2005 instead of sharing their message at home.He says, "I was personally offended by the Green Day Dvd, why record it in England? Why not in Washington D.C.?"I'm not trying to pick a bone with anybody, but I was offended by seeing a bunch of English kids screaming, I Don'T Wanna Be An American Idiot."Flowers believes that while no one knows the whole story about the Iraq war, people should reserve their judgment rather than impinging their opinions on others. He explains, "I don't really wanna get involved in politics; it's not really my place. I feel like I don't know enough about what's going on, I don't think a lot of people know enough. It's our human right to be upset with war - nobody wants war but there is a lot of the other side that we don't really know."Bullet in a Bible documents the two biggest shows that Green Day headlined in their career, playing to over 130,000 people at the Milton Keynes National Bowl on 18 and 19 of June 2005.
