The Doors stars Robby Krieger and Ray Manzarek are to mark the 30th anniversary of singer Jim Morrison's death in July by performing in Paris, the city where he died.
Morrison died in the bathtub of a Paris, France apartment on 3 July, 1971, and his former bandmates have chosen to honour him with a city concert as part of a European tour.
Krieger and Manzarek will perform at the Bataclan in Paris before flying off to Israel for a rare Tel Aviv concert on 5 July.
The duo will also perform in Russia, Italy, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands and Austria in July.
The Doors are one of the most respected and critically-acclaimed rock bands in history, and front-man Jim Morrison has become a legendary figure in the industry. They sold over 80 million albums worldwide and were the subject of a 1991 biopic directed by Oliver Stone in which Val Kimer played Morrison.
