Despite the world and their dog losing all sense of cool over the Stone Roses reunion gigs, it still seems that Coldplay hold the UK music throwne. By quite some distance as well.
According to music analysts Musicmetric, the Mancunian rockers have 923,000 online fans, including a fairly hefty 58,000 twitter followers. Not bad for a band that's been dormant for nearly 15 years.
That's nothing compared to Coldplay's internet army that currently stands at 34.5 million. That's more than double the population of Holland! Chris Martin wasn't kidding when he called themselves the 'Manchester United of pop.'
Even Muse's gigantic following of 18.6 million pales in comparison to the much maligned crooners.
