Rock & Roll Queen Stevie Nicks Confirmed For Sixth Annual Hard Rock Calling

Nicks Joining Rod Stewart for Premier Outdoor Music Event in Hyde Park on 26 June2011

LONDON, 9 March 2011: Hard Rock International and Live Nation confirmed today that Rock ‘n’ Roll Queen Stevie Nicks has been added to the Sunday 26 Junelineup at Hard Rock Calling 2011 in London’s Hyde Park. Tickets will go on sale on Friday, 11 March at 9:00 am.

Stevie Nicks will be joining headliner Rod Stewart whose appearance at Hard Rock Calling was also announced this week. Both Stewart and Nicks are currently in rehearsal for their upcoming Heart & Soul US Tour.

Multi-Grammy winning Stevie Nicks has had an unparalleled career as a solo artist and member of Fleetwood Mac, whose Rumours album has sold over 50 million copies worldwide and was a Top Ten album on the UK charts for 24 weeks. Nicks has penned several Fleetwood Mac classics including Landslide,Dreams,Gold Dust Woman and Rhiannon.

Stevie Nicks’ solo career began with her five times platinum debut Bella Donna. Her iconic hit singles include Stop Draggin’ My Heart Around Edge of Seventeen, Leather and Lace and Stand Back.

The upcoming appearances of Stewart and Nicks at this year’s Hard Rock Calling join a long line of rock ‘n’ roll greats that have taken to the stage at this iconic location. Past acts have included Bruce Springsteen, Paul McCartney, Pearl Jam, Neil Young, The Who, Eric Clapton, Stevie Wonder, Aerosmith, Peter Gabriel, The Killers and The Police, who created what is now identified as the must see concert event on the UK festival circuit.

Hard Rock Calling, produced by Live Nation and presented by Hard Rock International, is a unique and historic musical event with a main stage, second stage and many surprises in store for fans of all ages. In addition to renowned bands and an on-site Hard Rock Cafe, the festival will include a variety of attractions to be announced at a later date.
