The Spice Girls have been offered a megabucks to take their comeback world tour to Aus in a deal that see each of the mums net an extra £2million by extending their tour. The bands Greatest Hits album went straight to No1 down under and they are lining up 12 dates in Sydney, Perth and Brisbane for March. A source told the Sun: "The girls have a massive fan base in Australia and a huge amount of cash is being thrown at them to get them to perform there. "Everyone in Oz has been reading about the show and now they want a piece of the action." The girls have already performed in Canada, the US, Spain and Germany. They are in the middle of a 17-show run at Londons O2 and will head to Manchester on January 23 for three performances at the MEN Arena. After that, they hit the US again and the last confirmed date is in Toronto, Canada, on February 26.
All that travelling hasnt been without a price as Emma Bunton sprained her ankle on stage in Las Vegas and was a doubt for the start of the UK leg of the tour, then not to feel left out Mel B did the same on New Years Eve during a night out at Londons Nobu restaurant.
