Soulja Boy has angered a military veteran after making controversial derogatory comments about the military in her new song.

The hip-hop star provoked criticism after debuting the video for new track Let's Be Real online with the lyrics: "F**k the FBI and the army troops... fighting for what? Be your own man... I'll be flying through the clouds with green like I'm Peter Pan."

Retired Marine Fred A. Flores is demanding an apology from Soulja Boy, real name DeAndre Cortez Way for the 'offensive' lyrics.

Commission, tells TMZ.com: "It's a very offensive statement... especially with the 10th anniversary of 9/11 coming up.

"He should apologise to ALL armed forces. (The rap) is very irresponsible, especially for a person who is an entertainer for the youth of our country."
