Rapper SOULJA BOY is facing a $1 million (£625,000) lawsuit over a cancelled gig in Pennsylvania last year (10).

The hip-hop star was allegedly booked to play a show in Harrisburg on 10 December (10) and was paid a $16,250 (£13,541) advance fee to secure the date.
However, in a lawsuit filed at United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, organisers at TrinCity Entertainment claim the star's representatives scrapped the show and failed to fully reimburse the company.

In the suit, TrinCity chief Joseph Sheldon Brewster claims that as well as the advance, he spent another $3,500 (£2,187) for bus transportation to the event and a further $8,000 (£5,000) for television and radio commercials to promote the gig.

Brewster accuses Soulja Boy's record company Interscope Records and MySpace Music of axing the concert and then failing to pay a promised $10,000 (£6,250) to offset the advertising costs on time. Soulja Boy is also accused of keeping his fee.

The suit is seeking $1 million in damages from Soulja Boy, Interscope and MySpace for breach of contract and unjust enrichment, according to AllHipHop.com.
