The Drop It Like It's Hot hitmaker, real name Calvin Broadus, Jr., was slapped with an invoice from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) after failing to hand over £297,711.
But the hip-hop icon is now in the clear - he paid the sum on 15 September, according to The Detroit News.
Snoop Dogg isn't the only urban star to run into trouble with the IRS - rapper Lil Wayne, singer R. Kelly and music mogul Damon Dash have all recently been chased for payment by U.S. tax officials.
