Snoop Dogg tries to beat Run-DMC record
Snoop Dogg has his sights set on a new record. He wants to outdo rap rival Reverend Run by sparking four million messages on Twitter.
The Gin and Justice star will sent out a message to his followers on the site on Tuesda will the hope of them re-tweeting it to their own followers.
He hopes for his four million fans on Twitter will oblige, setting a new world record and beating the previous best set by Run-DMC last year.
Snoop tells AllHipHop.com: "Hitting four million Twizzles (followers) is a big moment for me and I want to thank all my fans for their continued support. I want to show the world how powerful and influential social media and my fans are, which is why I am attempting to set the world record for the most 're-tweets' on Twitter."
