Snoop Dogg has been given a boost in his bid to become a TV sitcom star with NBC executives picking up the show for broadcast.
The Drop it Lke it's Hot rapper signed on to star as the father in the untitled series last month and has been working with producers at Warner Bros to develop the family show.
And now the programme, written by Two and a Halk Men writer Don Reo, has found a place to air after NBC bosses bought the rights this week, according to Deadline.com.
The sitcom is yet to have a premiere date.
