Slipknot have scrapped their upcoming concert in Israel - blaming "personal and family conflicts" for the cancellation.The nine-strong band - known for their elaborate on-stage 'death-masks' - were due to play in the country's capital, Tel Aviv, on 2 November.But now the gig has been cancelled by the group "as a result of sudden personal and family conflicts.” No other details about the decision were available as we went to press.Officials in the country are notoriously strict about granting musicians permission to play there as Sir Paul McCartney found out when he staged a special concert in Tel Aviv in September, four decades after the Beatles were banned from the country for being too controversial.
