It seems not even Kanye West can resist the call of the dub-step, with one of the genre’s leading lights Skrillex claiming that the two have been working together.
In an interview with website Daily Beast, the dub-step mastermind announced the collaboration saying “I did some music with Kanye and from what I know, it’s actually going to be the first song on his new album.”
While it’s expected that this will be on Kanye’s sixth solo record, not the upcoming Cruel Summer compilation he’s working on with his G.O.O.D music label, the possibility of Kanye and Skrillex teaming up is a mouth-watering one.
The DJ, who’s currently dating singer Ellie Goulding, won three Grammys at this year’s ceremony and was nominated for the ‘Best New Artist’ award.
