Rick Springfield, 61, best known for his 80’s hit “Jessie’s girl” had a run in with the law recently when he was arrested in Los Angeles on suspicion of drink driving.
The singer was pulled over on Sunday night, May 1st after making a manoeuvre away from traffic lights which alerted the police and the prompted them to pull him over near Pacific coast highway. Alcohol was spelt on the crooner’s breath and a breathalyzer was done.
Springfield’s alcohol level measured 0.10% just above California’s legal limit.
He was taken into custody in Malibu before being released on a 5, 000 dollar bail at around 2am Monday morning.
