Singer JESSICA SIMPSON has enlisted the help of her younger sister ASHLEE to launch a new clothing line.
The singer-turned-designer is expanding her $1 billion booming fashion empire to include a new collection for trendy young teens and she's recruited Ashlee's style guidance to better connect with customers.
Jessica tells Women's Wear Daily, "I'm excited to bring my sister... to this division because she brings a savvy rocker edge that defines today's teens."
And Ashlee Simpson, who will serve as the label's co-creative designer, is thrilled about the new gig.
The Pieces of Me hitmaker adds, "My goal... will be to design clothes that will help inspire young girls to express their personalities and creativity through fashion."
