Shakira honoured with star on Walk of Fame
Shakira has become the first Columbian to be honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The pop superstar was recognised as the 'the highest-selling Colombian artist of all time' as she unveiled the 2,354th star on Tuesday.
Her plaque is the star of a big week for the Hips Don't Lie hitmaker, she will also be celebrated at a special dinner on Wednesday when she is mnamed the recipient of the Latin Recording Academy Person of the Year award.
Shakira will receive the prize for her career achievements and her endless charity work with her educational organisation, the Barefoot Foundation.
