Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs just can’t seem to have a month without problems, with the latest bump in the road being a copyright infringement lawsuit!
The rapper has been slammed with the suit by a little-known R&B singer amid allegations the hip-hop mogul stole a song for his rap group Boyz N Da Hood.
Troy Hicks, whose stage name is Rhythum, claims Boyz N Da Hood's 2007 track Table Dance lifts chunks of his recording Private Dancer, which was previously released on independent label Real Life Entertainment.
According to AllHipHop, Hicks has named Boyz N Da Hood, Combs' label Bad Boy Records, Atlantic Recording Corporation and Block Entertainment in the legal papers, which were recently filed in a Dallas, Texas court.
