Scissor Sisters star Ana Matronic is a slimline shadow of her former self after dieting to fit into her stage clothes.
The outlandish singer shed 28 pounds (12.7 kilograms) while the I Don't Feel Like Dancin' hitmakers took a four-year break between albums.
The star admits that she was in "denial" about her ballooning weight, but was forced to take action after becoming too big for her glitzy costumes and she insists she has never felt better.
She tells Britain's The Times newspaper, "I lost two stone. I went to the gym. I went for the burn. And I cut out the booze. After that, it came off by itself. I feel more vital and sexy than I ever have, but the really great thing is establishing that a healthy body helps you have a healthy mind. It was something I was kind of in denial about."
She adds, "You have to be careful not to indulge too much because you can wake up one day and suddenly your stage clothes don't fit like they used to."
