Beloved British singer Sade has scored her first number one album in America since 1986.
As expected, her new release Soldier of Love has debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 with a staggering first week of 502,000 sales.
The last time the Smooth Operator singer was on top of the charts was 24 years ago with Promise. Sade's last release, 2001's Lovers Rock, debuted at three.
Last week's number one, Lady Antebellum's Need You Now, drops to two on the new chart, while R&B singer Jaheim debuts at three with Another Round.
Lil Wayne's Rebirth and country star Josh Turner's Haywire round out the new top five.
