Rod Stewart doesn’t half look good for his age, and it seems that he and his wife, Penny Lancaster and his wife are desperate to have a second child - but fear they have left it too late to conceive.
The Maggie May hitmaker, 64, and model Lancaster already have one son together, three year old Alastair, but their plans for another baby have suffered a setback - Lancaster, 38, has been trying to fall pregnant for more than a year without success.
She says, "I think Rod's touring and running around interferes with things but we still have high hopes." And her spokesperson adds, "It's simply a question of age. It does become more difficult the older people are."
Stewart has five children from previous relationships; Kimberly, Sean, Ruby, Renee and Liam.
