Ramin Karimloo

In May 2012, leading West End star Ramin Karimloo will take to the road to embark upon a national tour with Ramin - In Concert where he will perform dazzling new songs from his debut album, ‘Ramin’ alongside some much loved West End favourites.

Ramin Karimloo received global recognition when he starred in The Phantom of the Opera 25th anniversary concert, performed at the Royal Albert Hall and then broadcast around the world.

This performance crowned the huge critical and public acclaim he had received whilst starring as The Phantom in The Phantom of the Opera and Love Never Dies.

2012 will be a busy year for Ramin as Sony Music will launch his debut album in March. This album will feature stunning new songs such as ‘Coming Home’ and ‘Eyes of a Child’ in addition to West End classics such as ‘Music of the Night’ from The Phantom of the Opera and ‘til I Hear You Sing’  from Love Never Dies  - all of which Ramin will perform with his band.

For this exciting series of concerts, Ramin will be joined by a band under the direction of David Shrubsole.

Ramin, born in Iran, began his career in Toronto, Canada, but a subsequent move to the UK has seen him establish himself as a sought-after performer in London’s West End.

Roles include playing Raoul in The Phantom of the Opera (Her Majesty’s Theatre), Enjolras in Les Misérables (Queen’s Theatre), The Phantom in The Phantom of the Opera and most recently The Phantom in Love Never Dies. Currently, Ramin has returned to Les Misérables to star as Jean Valjean.

Ramin - In Concert is presented by Raymond Gubbay Ltd and BAM Entertainment in association with The Agency Group.
