Prince is relieved to be giving away his new album through European newspapers - insisting there's "no stress" in releasing 20TEN for free.
The Purple Rain singer, who released his 2007 album Planet Earth as a free CD with Britain's Mail on Sunday newspaper, has expanded the idea by organising another giveaway on Saturday (10Jul10) through the Daily Mirror and Daily Record in Britain.
The pop star has banned internet sites including iTunes and YouTube from using his music and he hopes distributing more than 2.5 million copies for free will help fight online piracy.
He says, "It's the best way to go. No charts, no internet piracy and no stress. Period. It seems like a lot of other artists agree with us as they are using the same approach now."
The German edition of Rolling Stone magazine will also include 20Ten, as well as Het Nieuwblad in Belgium.
