PINK FLOYD's will be releasing his lost recordings as part of an upcoming Why Pink Floyd? reissues campaign.
The group has opened its vaults and plans to release a treasure trove of never-released material, according to a post on the band's Facebook.com page.
The initiative comes amid renewed attempts to get the remaining trio, Roger Waters, David Gilmour and Nick Mason, together following a cooling of past feuds.
The online statement promises "unreleased material from the archives, collectors' box sets and complete studio recordings remastered".
The September (11) releases also include DVDs, Blu-ray discs, various digital formats, iPhone Apps and also a new best of compilation, A Foot in the Door, which features tracks chosen by the band.
The highlight will be the Experience box set, which will feature all the band's studio albums and bonus material.
Unreleased tracks include live versions of Shine On You Crazy Diamond and You've Got to Be Crazy, recorded in London in 1974, and Wine Glasses from Pink Floyd's unreleased Household Objects project.
The re-release of the band's iconic The Dark Side of the Moon will be a six-disc box set featuring performances previously unreleased on DVD and concert footage from the early 1970s.
A vinyl edition of each studio album will also be released.
