Crikey, it looks like we’ve found one person who doesn’t love the X Factor quite as much as us after Philip Glenister has laid into talent show.
Philip, who plays DCI Gene Hunt in FF’s FAVOURITE show, Ashes To Ashes, has branded the programme “malicious and cruel” in a recent interview with the Radio Times and added that it’s all just “the Simon Cowell show.”
His rant didn’t end there either, as he admitted that he “loathes” The X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent because it‘s all “bullying disguised as entertainment, and they’re lying to themselves if they think otherwise.”
Okay, so we kinda get your point, but it has produced the likes of Leona Lewis, JLS, Alexandra Burke and of course, Jedward… so it can’t be all that bad.
