Phil Spector has been able to keep himself out of jail for even longer as his murder trial ground to a halt once again after a jury member fell ill.
Jurors were given two days off at the start of the week but continued deliberations on Wednesday were put on hold when a member of the panel became unwell.
The judge suspended the trial to Thursday after the jury was handed the case last week after a six-month trial.
Spector, 69, faces 18 years behind bars if he's convicted of the second-degree murder of actress Lana Clarkson.
Clarkson died from a gunshot wound in the foyer of Spector's Alhambra, California mansion in February, 2003. Spector's defence team claims the actress shot herself.
