A Californian Judge has ruled that Phil Spector's murder conviction will be upheld. Spector was sentenced to 19 years to life in prison after being found guilty of murdering actress Lana Clarkson. An appeal was lodged by the record producer's lawyers who claimed that the prosecution unfairly used photos of the trial judge in their closing argument. A panel of judges yesterday returned a unanimous verdict insisting that Spector received a fair trial and threw out the appeal.
