The couple in happier times...
They were the married couple we thought would last forever, but it seems as though Hollywood has taken it's toll on another marriage as Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson split.
Only a few days ago they were enjoying a stroll around The Hills with their two-year-old son Bronx, so it's come as a huge shock to hear that Ashlee has filed for divorce citing ‘irreconcilable differences’ as the reason.
A statement from the couple says, "After careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to file for divorce. We remain friends and deeply committed and loving parents to our son Bronx, whose happiness and wellbeing remains our number one priority. We ask that everyone honour our privacy as we navigate this next phase of our lives."
